Guest guest
Hey April, Thanks, I know I have said this before, but being able to see other people and where they started with their weight loss and what they looked like now, just use to motivate me. I thought it might help others if I took pictures along my journey. Now I have to find a dress that I want to wear for the wedding. Nothing fancy, this is a very casual beach wedding for a me and I am 64--I am open for suggestion if anyone has any about a wedding dress. I thought if I started to look now I might find something. I was ready to spend the rest of my life alone after being single for many years, and I was OK with that. I am so happy that you have found the wonderful person too, to share your life with. Guest guest
Hi Gail, Thanks so much for all the nice words. You were a great help when I started because my son was so opposed to what I was about to do. I will never forget the nice things you said and how much it encouraged me to know that I was doing the right thing. Yes Bob is fabulous and he loved me the way I was when he met me. He said sometimes he looks at me and he can't believe how small I am now. We just knew it was time for us to get married. When I have some pictures from the wedding, I will post them. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks, I guess I have never thought of myself as an inspiration for anyone. It is just who I am and what I do. I have learned a lot after becoming single and it made me a much better person. I will post the pictures when I get them after the wedding. No big fancy wedding. It is very small and simple, and casual, just family and a few friends. We will have a big party this Summer for our family and friends when we can count on the weather here in the city we live in. Take care, Suzanne

Guest guest
Thank you for sharing this with us. You are always so inspiring. Please post pictures. GREAT news Hi Everyone, As someone pointed out this morning, we are always all about business on here. I thought I would share some GREAT news. I am getting married on Saturday, May 29, 2010. Bob and I have been together for 5 years on May 28th. He found me fell in love with me when I was fat and loves me just the same now since I lost 105 pounds. So it is very true good things come to those who wait. I had been single for about 15 years before I met Bob. My kids were grown and on there own. They were thrilled when I met Bob and really like him. We will be getting married at Cannon Beach, OR on the beach weather permitting.
