Connie may I ask--did u take the interferon/rebavarin combo or the

peg?? I am just wondering y I can't get the ribavarin--I thought my

problems were over when I printed the press release about the peg and

now here comes the problem of now not being able to get the

ribavarian to go along with it. Wow, what a mess! Does everyone seem

to thing this ribavarian will be available in just a few weeks--I

mean does anyone know if all the snags r worked out and it is just a

matter of " releasing " it. My doc says he knew of a drug that ws

supposed to be hv been release 4 months ago and they r still waiting

on it. I got about 3 choices to chose from -the interferon/rebetol,

the peg alone, the interferon/rebetol and then switch as long as I am

not on the inerferon/rebetol no more than 4 months when I make the

switch, but with that choice I don't even trust him to give it to me

or there wd be an insurance problem. If i really thought it would be

out and available to all withing even a month-6 weeks there wd be no

question--I would wait 4 it! I dn't think 6 weeks wd matter one way

or another. Another thing, if it is released in whatever time frame,

I just wonder if there is going to be an availabilty problem or will

there be orders backed up!!!! So, far I think they hv send my paper

back into the insurance company and they now hv 72 hr to respond but

if I change my mind b4 i get the shot and decide to wait and see if

it cn get it in the next 4-6 weeks then I think I will just wait for

it. The worse that cd happen I would think would be the delay of 4-6

weeks (I hv heard it is suppose to be out in 2 weeks) And hving to

start over with my insurance company again with the form. If anyone

hears anything about the release to where anyone can get this

ribivarian, please post it as soon as possible.

Yes, my heart goes out to all those this morn and our country.

Sometime we think our problems r so big and then something like this

happens and it can really open your eyes. I pray for all of the

victims and relative and health care workers. I hope this is the end

of the attacks and now can work on who is responsible. This is really

scary!
