Guest guest
" I'm getting old, perhaps that's the problem... " No, I don't think that's it.... They are being *mysterious*, that's the problem. Here is your answer: (http://www.change.org/ideas) Quote: Thank You! Voting on the Ideas for Change in America has ended as of 5pm ET on January 15, 2009. We will announce the top 10 rated ideas at an event at the National Press Club tomorrow in Washington, DC. We want to recognize everyone who submitted ideas and participated in the discussion over the past 6 weeks. We started the Ideas for Change in America initiative in the hope that we could translate the energy behind the Obama election into a citizen-led movement for change around the major issues we face. With over 600,000 votes, you have helped deliver a clear message to the Obama administration that the American people want to participate in their own government again. For that, we thank you. And we can't wait to work with each of you to continue this momentum after the competition ends. Best, The Change.org Team End Quote

Guest guest
Hmmm... okay, so WHY is it a sham... what is the real purpose as opposed to its stated purpose? And what makes change.gov NOT a sham? Guest guest
Hullo Alan. Yes the voting was over at 5pm eastern, and it looked to me like Health freedom came in 7th, still in the top ten. All material about this voting seems to have been removed or is now unaccessable. Yesterday, I was able to see the top 20 vote standings. I cant remember them all. No# 1 was to legalize marajuana. I got this email from Change.org yesterday: It says in part.......... The last day of voting for the Ideas for Change in America competition is today! On Friday we will present the top 10 ideas to the Obama administration at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. We'll then connect the winning ideas to leading nonprofits and launch a series of national advocacy campaigns to turn each idea into federal policy. We started the Ideas for Change in America initiative in the hope that we could translate the energy behind the Obama election into a citizen-led movement for change around the major issues we face. With over 500,000 votes thus far, each of you has helped deliver a clear message to the Obama administration that the American people want to participate in their own government again. For that, we thank you. And we can't wait to work with each of you to continue this momentum after the competition ends. What this competition win all means for Healthfreedom now, I am not sure. I assure you Healthfreedom was very much on the vote listing. It is not in their regular Join groups and causes section, that try to generate donations and motivated members. Rima or Ralph will have to fill us in on all of that, report and explain, as to what it all means, and what Next! Thanks to everyone who voted, we managed to end in the top ten. The last day of voting, right up to the last hours was nerve wracking. We were in 4th in the morning, close to overtaking 3rd. Then lost ground progressively up until 2 pm, where we sat at 7th until voting closed. This is the way I have perceived it. Hope that info helped a little. We'll wait for word or something more conclusive. Glad Day ~ Karla in IL

Guest guest
On change.gov, you may submit any idea you like, people can comment and vote on them and the site is Obama's. On change.org, if you disagree with their agenda they throw you off the site. I disgreed with the lunatics who try to claim autism should not be cured and was thrown out for merely pointing out their lies. I never had the chance to express my displeasure with the gay agenda that has corrupted out values for the last 30 or 40 years. There is no guarantee that Obama will even see these ideas from change.org. > > >

Guest guest
Thanks. I'll take a closer look... I rather suspect, though, that the gay rights problem, among others, would diminish if the government and medical industry were not allowed to indulge their preocuppation with chemicals inflicted on an unuspecting citizenry...
