Why Are We Drugging Our Kids?

I once read that schools take 500 $ to refer a child for drugs like Ritalin,

I have a friend who was pushed by the school to put her son on the drug, although

the mother was explaining that he was just a very active kid.

She gave him the drug for 1 year and at last she refused going on with it:

the kid was not his usual self, he was letargic and numb.

Things change gradually, and sometimes very slowly.

People have a terrific faith in MDs, they barely put in doubt their science,

what sounds abnormal to me and most people on these forums, is daily

living for the majority of people.
