I even had a woman at work, whose kid is on ADD drugs, tell me that she too has Adult ADD, and under my breath I scoffed, and then she added that the psychiatrist said that modern life causes these symptoms. Personally, I don't buy into this new bogus, money-making dx. You said she said the drugs don't work for her. Obviously she's tried some of them in the past. I wonder which of those drugs are actually to blame for the symptoms she describes as ADD. I have no advice on what you could sweetly tell her because my knee-jerk reaction would cause me to tell her, " Oh, for God's sake, don't buy into that shit! Everyone with an IQ over 100 could be dx'd with this disorder! "

Guest guest
Thanks, I'll let him know. Are there things we can do with the Masgutova method to help him. We feel like his life would be more productive and happier if he could get over this. We hope that he would also be more motivated to continue the MNRI method with our daughter because he always loses interested after the first week of meeting with Svetlana. Guest guest
What a sweet way of putting together what MNRI did for you, for others, Daphne. Thank you for sharing how you were helped. I had that too but learnt over the years to finish and then just " muffed " the middle. I took Svetlana " s birth course and found out the pattern of preperation, proces, integration and finish actually followed the 4 stages of birth and our pattern of learning. It changed my life. One of the many brilliant things about the MNRI method is how once you get an " AH HA " in one area, it opens up others. I came to realize that I was quick to start but gave up too soon, things were too hard, taking too long, boring or I'll do it later etc as I started a new project. As I came to integrate more reflexes in myself, I felt the JOY of actually getting a reflex...they are harder to do then they look! This happens to the kids (and us) when " trying " to get a reflex. When they finally get it, it may be the first time they have ever felt completion! The feeling they can do it. It acts as a baseline for other times when they don't want to stay with something.Core and foot tendon guard might be nice for your husband.
