Guest guest
RE: Tinnitis I'm a Doctor of Chiropractic. I'm not an audiologist. didn't tell me he had a hearing loss or tinnitis originally. I diagosed that he had a nerve conduction hearing loss while we were conversing from a National Board question over 20 years ago (since I still have an intact memory and cognitive function having escaped Madison County Probate Judge Tommy Ragland's politically & financially motivated involuntary psychiatric commitment to prevent me from competing with his employer, Mrs. Tommy Clarice Ragland's Chiropractic Care Center). Bone Conduction Hearing Loss-3 ear bones (ossicles) don't conduct-can't hear. Nerve Conduction Hearing Loss- After the sound waves vibrate the tympanic membrane (ear drum) they move the 3 ear bones, incus, stapes & mallus-that's the end of the bone conduction. Once it vibrates the hair cells (cilia) moving the fluid in the cochlea that then transmit the sound to the auditory nerve that takes it to the portion of the brain that registers sound, it's sound conduction. (I can't remember which cranial nerve or portion of the brain registers sound-occipital maybe?) When you have a nerve conduction hearing loss you can hear sound but you can't distinguish what you are hearing when there is background noise. This is what I obseved with when I knew he had a nerve conduction hearing loss. I'm looking forward to getting a copy of all the taxpayer money that's been paid out to a slew of M.D.'s for Medicare/Medicaide and the Ala. Dept. of Rehab Services who have been paid thousands not to even realize he had the problem yet alone fix it. I've got the appointments with the Spain Brain Clinic & 2nd Opinion Audiologist Dec. 2, 2004 that Judge Ragland and all the other railroading psychiatric commiting " professionals " send him to be medicated into a dysfunctional zombie supporting Commissioner Kathy Sawyers' psychiatric institutions and failed to get him proper medical treatment. If we could get some answers from the drug manufacturers as to why their drugs cause tinnitis before I take him to UABirmingham in Dec. that would be really good for me to have. His started with falling 17 feet head first onto concrete when falling asleep standing up on Klonopin(sp) that causes " drowsiness " so his would be biomechanical etiology but also has ben taking SSRI's since so may be complicated by that and didn't know that the soft drinks with aspartame could cause the deafness & tinnitis. THE DRUG MANUFACTURERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL US WHY THEIR DRUGS CAUSE NERVE DAMAGE TO THE AUDITORY NERVE. It they are damaging those nerves enough to cause nerve conductino hearing loss and when there is no hearing there is the ringing in the place of hearing, they should be liable for the hearing aides, etc. Basically, a nerve conduction hearing loss person just can't hear unless it's quiet all around and then they can decipher what is being said to him. basically has to be about 2 feet from me and only me speaking into his right ear to hear me. The Ala. Dept. of Rehab Services that failed ot tell him they had a Hearing Disability Counselor in the same building are trying to cover their incompetent tracks after I copied my correspondences to Gov. Riley, COmmissioner Sivers on down. They tried to waste my very valuable volunteer time setting up a goose chase jerkyou around not refer for hearing aides and not exhibit the records Tuesday. I could smell an incompetent beauracrat trying to blame their inhumane incompetence on and we told them we wouldnt' come until we were told hat the Hearing Impairment counselor woudl be there and his civil right to have the records exhibited. The supervisor refused to comply. Dr. Lance refused to get jerked around. Now we're organizing a meeting next week with a bunch of the other Americans who are beihgn used because they are poor and handicappled to work in a factory making military supplies with below wages & no insurnace or retirement benefits after I get finished with my 5 minutes of free speech on Cable TV at the City COunci meeting for the first time since the Mayoral race. The Madison County Mental Health Center works closely with the Ala. Dept. of Rehab Services and Judge Ragland. Don't you just wish you could " hear " the fun I'm causing? My Mother worked as a computer analyst projecting missle projections from Russion during the Cold War. I send e-mail missles to Huntsville from Atlanta after Judge Ragland railroaded me out of town to escape having my brain poisoned with those drugs by the same psychiatrists that killed my Mother. The plot thickens in Medicare Ma Ma's Probate Purgatory, the Judges of Madison County-stay tuned for the next exciting episode & be sure to drinik your Ovaltine. It will be most interesting to learn from the M.D.'s in B'ham how they locate the source of nerve conduction hearing loss. The first chiropractic adjustment was on Harvey Lillard Sept. 18, 1895 when he got his hearing back. Dr. Lance, D.C. _____________________________________________________________ Glitter, is this because of SSRIs or did you have a brain injury another way? > : > From what I've researched, these drugs cause actual damage to the nerves. > How it happens I don't know, except that we do know that psychiatric drugs are > neurotoxins.
