Guest guest Posted October 7, 2001 Report Share Posted October 7, 2001 e can correct me here but usually they use the combination of diprivan/propofol and then they sometimes mix things like demerol and versed so I would guess you had the propofol for sure and then maybe some of the others I mentioned above. These are some of the safest meds around, they are like you said, great because they put you out fast and you come out relatively fast, they use them often in ICU as well as surgery ....I know this is what I had for both of my surgeries. It is possible you had a reaction if he used something different than you have had before, or also your immune system being run down could complicate things, again if your home meds are something that could have reacted with these meds??? e what is your opinion?
