Guest guest
I DONT KNOW YOUR FULL NAME ONLY YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS, BUT I AM INSPIRED BY THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE MADE ALMOST A FULL RECOVERY. THAT IS SO GREAT!. I THINK THERE IS SOMETHING IN WORKING OUT HARD OR DOING SAUNAS FOR EXAMPLE, ANYTHING THAT MAKES YOU REALLY SWEAT. I HAVE BEEN READING A BOOK ON DETOX AND IT TALKS ABOUT A CASE STUDY OF FIREMAN WHO SUFFERED FROM NUERO-TOXITITY(I THINK THAT HOW YOU SPELL IT) DUE TO BEING EXPOSED TO TOXIC CHEMICALS. THEY DEVELOPED THE " BRAIN FOG " AND WERE SUBSTANCIALLY CURED WHEN THEY DID A PROGRAM OF BOTH SAUNAS AND HEAVY AEROBIC TYPE EXERCISE ON A DAILY BASIS. AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS ON THIS PROGRAM THEY ACTUALLY HAD A MAJOR IMPROVEMENT IN THEIR INTELLIGANCE TESTS. SO... MAYBE THAT IS THE PART OF THE PUZZLE. I AM GLAD TO HEAR YOUR SUCCESS STORY, I WISH YOU MUCH CONTINUED RECOVERY AND HEALTH. BEST REGARDS GABRIELA -----Original Message----- From: cjheer@... I also understand now why my posts always show up with my address instead of just my name, because I only look at the posts on the site and don't get them via email. Silly me. Guest guest
Hi , When I first formed this group, I did have the member list optioned as public for all to see. However, when there were some rumblings about who was or who wasn't a member on it, I decided to make it private. I figured it wouldn't make a difference to anybody anyway, since all the messages are posted with addresses. The only ones who have access to this member list are me and whoever I choose to be a moderator with me. Guest guest
I think my colonic costed about $60. My husband's might have been less (different towns, different facilities) I am glad that I went to a professional facility first, to know what it was supposed to feel like, what it was supposed to accomplish, and get proper advice. Now, I prefer to do them on my own at home. However, I would not be averse to going back to a colon hydrotherapist for another colonic. It just costs more than doing it at home. No problem on the ozonated water--just let me know where you want to meet, or if you want to just come over to my house and pick some up freshly made. (I will have to freeze it for you if you want to meet somewhere.) Guest guest
I have been real sick for the last few weeks. Not getting out of bed for days on occasion. I had an upper and lower scope to look at my colon and my stomach. They found severe inflammation and an esophageal stricture which my doctor dilated. Anyway my question for Patty or anyone that might have any ideas on this is, I wasn't doing bad until I had these scopes and I haven't been the same since. I was wondering about the anesthesia? I've had severe muscle spasms and pain and fatigue every day following the scopes. I can't figure this out. I can't find anything on the net about the after effects of anesthesia. I've just been miserable. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks -Shirl-
Guest guest
anesthesia usually only stays in your system a week or so they say, I think if you immune system is down then it could mess it up and that most likely your in a flaire. Has anyone suggested you take Plaquenil or methotrexate, or imuran? I know that the plaquenil is the safest and is supposed to be effective, Are you taking anything at all? I am sorry to hear about this girl, I have a friend, No implants, with mixed connective tissue disease and she gets her esophagus dilated allot too, but she does really well if she sticks to her diet and exercise program and also takes the plaquenil, heck if you that bad they should be giving you something, you need to get your systemic inflammation undercontrol before you can heal. Ask about the meds...that would be my suggestion. In @y..., shg713@a... wrote: > I have been real sick for the last few weeks. Not getting out of bed for > days on occasion. Guest guest
Do you know what kind of anesthesia you had? My specialty area aside from open hearts is postop, so I have considerable knowledge about anesthesia, as it is required for PACU jobs. Depending on what kind of anesthesia you had, it can remain in your system for 24-72 hrs. It is rare that anesthesia stays in your system for longer than 72 hrs. The key is coughing and deep breathing. This makes you exhale the anesthetic agents and rid your body of them faster. In addition, it also keeps your lungs expanded so that you don't develop atelectasis (collapsed lung and/or congested lung). As for your symptoms, I question whether they are related to the anesthesia. If they are, I would wonder if you are having a mild allergic reaction. If you have any other illnesses, they could also be causing your symptoms. If you know what type of anesthesia you had, i.e, general, block, local, sedation/MAC, and what anesthetic agent was used, I can better answer your questions. e > I have been real sick for the last few weeks. Guest guest
I'm not sure what kind is was but I was out cold. I guess it's something that I can wake up from during the procedure. That's what they told me, but I wouldn't remember anything if I did. I woke up rather quickly from it. -Shirl-
Guest guest
Shirl, It sounds like twilight sedation...was that it? I had twilight sedation for both implantation and explant. I don't remember a thing, except for waking up while he was stitching up my last breast..oops! I think they gave me another quick dose to keep me under a little while longer, but I sure didn't like waking up when I did! Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: shg713@...
