Subject: Revamped Web site and update from Zuckerman

Hi everyone,

The National Center for Policy Research (CPR) for Women and Families has revamped our website, so I hope you'll all take a look. (Just click the URL below my signature.) I loved our old home page, but apparently it was very "old fashioned" since it was more than 2 years old. (What are the implications for my entire wardrobe, if that is the standard?)

Information about implants is now included in the women's health section (where it belongs!). We still have a separate website for more detailed implant information.

Our new logo and "tag line" are up on the home page.

The weeks since Sept 11 have been difficult for many of us. In addition to fear and sadness (exascerbated by being evacuated from our office on Sept 11 because of our location near the White House), and having to postpone our Sept 24 breast cancer conference because Reagan National Airport is still closed, we have found that Congressional hearings and meetings about implants, health care and other issues that we were involved in have been postponed indefinitely. So, we are focusing on providing information directly to the public, and will be patient about reaching out to the press and policy makers.

Thanks again to all of you for your support for our work!

Best wishes,

Zuckerman, Ph.D.PresidentNational Center for Policy Research for Women & Families1444 Eye Street, NWSuite 900Washington, DC 20005www.center4policy.org
