Exactly - that's why I say:

" Many have STOPPED seeing peds as the well baby visits are primarily

to vaccinate (take it from me, a former peds nurse)

And most parents are first to find a problem, not the ped.

Once you decide you don't want vaccines, you also will discover

you won't want much else peds have to offer - meds, meds and more meds. "

>book - and asking folks locally. As your local La Leche League

>leaders, folks at farmers' markets, even at the offices of other

>practitioners, for example, you might ask your chiropractor for a

>reference for a homeopath or a naturopath.

Those are all possible choices too

I need to add that to my list

I do recommend that also - asking midwives, in health food stores and

the above places you mention.

More to add on to my list where I tried to consolidate.

Thanks

Warnings, however. A person in desperation may need a doctor for surgery, of course. But what I wanted to point out, people, was WATCH YER BACK! Make certain you obtain in writing a guarantee that the sobs will not just casually decide that you don't mind if they harvest your gall bladder or other God granted organs while poking around on other business. Otherwise, I wouldn't agree to see them for any reason, even diagnostics. Medical school twists the minds of these people, I'd just as soon have a friendly drink with Dahmer.

If your family is unvaccinated and healthy, what do you desire from him/her, except interference and the risk of getting sick from all the contagions every time you enter the office? The only reason I would assume you might go to a doctor in the first place, other than trauma care, is to get drugs to alleviate symptoms

of allergies, colds, flus, etc., and if you're on this list, I would assume that not to be your desire. We stopped going to allopathic physicians more than 20 years ago. In that time, we've needed help for stitches 3 times and gone to a convenient care center where the staff (physician, nurse, office staff) didn't blink an eye when we said our kids were unvacinnated. They simply did the stitching, were polite, and we left. We removed our own stitches.Allopathic med is what I turn to for trauma care that I cannot manage myself. Otherwise, why would you want any relationship with them at all? We've had great help with all manner of other support for any chronic illness (one of my sons had an ulcer as well as allergies and a tendency to catch every cold or flu out there) from our homeopath, acupuncturist

and chiropractor. His ulcer was completely healed through the use of homeopathy about 2 years ago. He never saw an allopath; I would not have trusted anything they offered to not do more damage to his immune system through their classic methods of suppression of all symptoms! And our acupuncturists have treated 2 of my children for severe allergies, and both have ceased having reactions. One was respiratory; the other was skin allergies. An allopath would merely have kept them chronic and "managed."Sheri's list is helpful - but so are the yellow pages of your phone book - and asking folks locally. Hi Theresa - I agree about connecting via your local holistic network...that's

how so many good people are found. The national directory is helpful for people

who don't have that part of the loop available.

I noted that Sheri lists herself as the listowner. While she is a prolific

poster, she is not the listowner. This group is a Forum owned by the Natural

list is signed up as a member of the free, secure and private Health Freedom
