What is the best thing to do ?

I was curious how other people dealt with their pain meds. I take lortab and

when my back pain started used to take may be one a day, am now up to 2 but I

wait the 6 hours on the bottle and then take it again. It never gets rid of the

pain completly but is it better to take it at the 4 to 5 hour mark when it

starts to wear off ? I wait to long and then the pain gets really bad again so

by the time I take it it takes a while to catch up with itself. I'm don't know

if i'm stupid or a martyr and should just take it more often to stop it from

getting bad as I only end up on the couch miserable. I suppose in some ways I

think the pain wont come back as bad (it always does) and I really hate to take

them. To make myself half way confortable would need 3 to 4 a day.
