Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Just wanted to say Hello! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We took it easy on Saturday and Sunday just getting stuff done around the house. My son had a friend over for most of Sunday and Monday, so I stayed busy keeping them busy. We set up the tent in the back yard and had a campfire. I ate way to many smores-love those things! Yesterday we went boating on a small lake here in Wisconsin. I take it very slow on the boat because even the bouncing around on the waves can stir things up with my back. By the time we got home last night around supper I was bushed. I feel like I get worn out a lot quicker than I use to before the car accident. Do you think I can be worn out from keeping up with the pain all of the time? Cause that's my best guess. Although I am in pain everyday, I still feel like life does go on and I like to do things I enjoy like boating and it gets me out of the house. Thought I'd let you know I made another appt. with my neo doctor to see what else he feels is the cause of the pain in my back I still have one disc in my back that is herniated. Can one disc cause this much pain? I had the two disc's in my neck fixed when I had my surgery. I'm very grateful that my neck is much better. I was also wondering if it's ok to mention pain meds on this site by specific names? I just don't think my pain meds work very well. I have taken stronger pain meds and they made me very agitated, so I went off of them. I also have been taking an anti-depressant and it seems to work ok, but not great. I know anti-depressants work different on different people, but I was wondering if anyone has taken one that really works well? I have an issue with hair loss when take anti- depressants, but I don't seem to do well if I'm not on them. I was also wondering how all of you keep up WITH HOUSEWORK WITH CHRONIC PAIN. I have cleaning ladies come twice a month, but they only clean. The majority of my problem is keeping the house picked up. I see a snowball effect between my husband and my kids and now that I am home they all seem to think that Mom can do everything. Bending over and lifting are very hard for me right now. I know that many of you can relate. I feel pretty guilty because I just can't keep my house the way it use to be. Well, I better sign off for now. Sorry about all of the questions in one email. Take Care, WSuz Thanks again for all of your kind words of wisdom and support.

If you really look at it, you are probably not getting enough rest, plus you have the effects of the pain medicines, and being in pain just Zaps you of energy, this is very normal >Cause that's my best guess. Keeping active is always encourage, you just need to pace yourself, and also be careful that bouncing up and down over wakes doesn't cause more damage to your back. While not the latest fashion a back brace can help eliminate further damage. >Can one disc cause this much pain? Never just stop taking pain meds without consulting your Doctor or pharmacist. you can go through bad withdrawl symptoms. I say that from experience. You can mention them, we caution one reason this is a invite only list is so that trollers for medicines can find out who has what possibly being delivered to their door. If it is important part of the question yes go ahead. > I also have been taking an anti-depressant and it seems to >work ok, but not great. Anti-depressants can work great for some and not at all for the next person. It has been my experience that they need to try several sometimes to find the right one. Even then after a couple of months or years, the one that worked can stop, then you need to switch to another. For me right now, one that works is Cymbalta. Gets lots of TV time as working on depression and physical pain. >WSuz >Thanks again for all of your kind words of wisdom and support.
