Guest guest
Sometimes I wonder if this war CAN be won. In the grand scheme of things, those few million of us who have suffered damage from taking these panaceas are considered collateral damage. We don't matter, not to the powers that be. And we can be silenced just by the implications and insinuations that we were, after all, on a psychiatric medication thereby implying that we are all mentally ill in the first place. Why would anyone who has the power to change things care about what we say, no matter how much PROOF we come up with that these drugs cause damage? Yeah, we're starting a quiet little revolution, slowly building to the grand finale, but my husband keeps reminding me of what they did to Sacco and Vanzetti --just because they could. And I keep harking back to a line from LeCarre's new novel, The Constant Gardener (which is about the pharmas) where he says, "These people kill." Guest guest
Glitter, I understand your discouragement. I have many days where I feel the same... but overriding those days I really believe we will win this war. My reasoning lies in the fact of the sheer numbers that these drugs are being administered to. Although those who experience negative reactions are considered to be in the minority - the overall number is increasing daily. When those who were in the former position of advocating these drugs wind up having problems themselves (ie ... medical doctors, pharmacists, researchers or someone close to them), you can be sure that wake up call is going to turn into a shout... You just take care of yourself so you'll be around when the victory is ours!!! Guest guest
My sentiments, too, Glitter - the ones I wrestle with every waking hour and in my dreams and nightmares...BUT, do we go down with our integrity, our love for the truth emblazend on souls - like Luther King, Jr., RFK and others - or do we ALLOW those powers that be take our very souls on TOP of our lives??? Not me, I will go down fighting...for the truth and for all that is good and right...because I beleive in love and it's ETERNAL power. IT WILL PREVAIL IN THE END ALL BE ALL...
