Guest guest
Is it common to have days where you have absolutly no energy to do anything and your entire body hurts like you were hit by a truck. I go back to the dr. on the 5th but I don't know if I can take this that long. I have spent most of the day in bed cause I just don't have any energy and I feel like crap. I don't know what stage I'm in yet suppose to find out at next appointment. Any suggestions. Please.

Guest guest
Hi Patti, Thank you for the advice, it's really hard to stay positive. I've always been the one to be out doing things or helping others and now things have changed and I can't stand it. I have started drinking alot of water instead of pop and that seems to help some. I guess I'm feeling sorry for myself and I have to stop it cause it's not helping anything. When I got clean and sober, I thought alright, I'm young, I have wonderful daughters and grandchildren and I have so many years ahead of me to enjoy them. Then everything started going down hill. I got divorced, my oldest daughter commited suiside the day before her birthday, one of my grandsons was lifelighted for a heart condition at 5mo old, I had a stroke, and so on, believe me there has been many more and now there is this, I just don't get it. Is there anything special that I should be eating or should it just be all healthy stuff. I have a rabbit and a squrrial that I've been feeding my cookies to, they seem to enjoy them. I am truely greatful for any and all advice you can give me, I'm just so confused about it all. Thank You, Spots ________________________________ From: patti <fishinggal2008@...> Hepatitis C Sent: Wednesday, September 16, 2009 5:45:19 PM Subject: Re: new at this Hi Spots We all experience just what you stated. Guest guest
hi spots...omg,you have EVERY RIGHT to feel crappy,WOW. sorry to heat about your daughter,i heard that you never totally except the death of a child so you are acting totally normal and i can totally feel your pain all thou ive never experience a loss like that,i still feel what youve gone threw. just stay close to god because only he has thee answers for our lives heres a little info below for you... Working out to improve a specific part of the body is difficult. Eating for the same purpose is not. When it comes to your liver, there are foods that are good for it. Your liver is an organ vital to healthy living. Your liver serves many functions such as storing sugars, vitamins and minerals and eventually uses them for energy and even controls the production of your cholesterol. Additionally, your liver cleanses your blood of any toxins and is helpful in assisting to your overall wellbeing! There are many well known suspects that are bad for your liver. Eating and drinking substances that are high in alcohol and caffeine can be detrimental to your liver functions. Additionally, smoking and taking copious amounts of some medicines such as aspirin can have negative effects on your liver. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day to aid in the cleansing process that your body relies on your liver for. Add some fresh squeezed lemon to your water for a detoxifying and cleansing beginning and end to your day. Remember, taking certain medications such as aspirin in excess can cause serious harm to your liver. In addition, certain illicit and street drugs will permanently scar and reduce functions of the organ. Drinking too much alcohol or mixing it with medications can also cause significant damage to the liver. In addition to these harmful chemicals, others such as certain cleaning products and aerosol sprays in surplus can lead to severe damage as well. Consuming foods rich in antioxidants are important for a healthy liver. Eat foods with great amounts of Vitamin C, Vitamin E and B such as fruits and veggies. Vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage are significant and useful detoxification agents. Cleansing fruits such as fresh berries, prunes, raisins, apples and pears are good choices for a healthy liver. Avoiding foods that are high in fat and cholesterol can also keep your liver healthy and assist in maintaining long lasting functionality. In addition, foods high in fiber such as whole grain breads, rice and cereals are essential to liver health. Cooking with lots of garlic and onion is a fantastic way to keep your liver healthy while still eating foods that taste great. Both are great antioxidants! Taking small but simple steps when choosing foods to add to your diet can make a world of difference in the long term health of your liver. Whole and naturally organic foods that act as antioxidants are always a healthy option and will assist in maintaining your overall health as well as your vital organ- your liver. Guest guest
Thank you all for the great advice and food suggestions. I don't like water but have been drinking it anyways, this is day two, no pop so far. I did have to have a cup of coffee though. On the fruits and vegi's is it better to have fresh or is the canned all right or frozen. I no longer use illegal drugs so thats not a problem but I do take asprin daily cause of the stroke I had in may, I'm also on other presciption meds. Is ice cream a no no? I'm hooked on it, but just a couple scoops a day. I can't handle being down, thats why I'm asking so many questions. I hope it's not a bother for anyone and if so I'm sorry. I just really feel lost about this and not sure what to think anymore. Everything that has gone down hill has happened in the last two years and it's really hard to understand why. Thanks again for letting me babble on, Spots ________________________________ From: deborah brown <heaven_scent_in_55@...> Hepatitis C Cc: deborah kay mand <heaven_scent_in_55@...> Sent: Thursday, September 17, 2009 11:24:36 AM Subject: Re: new at this hey patti...hope your having a fantastic day yeah i was just wondering, are eggs bad for our liver? Guest guest
I'm not sure about eggs. I think it's o.k. in moderation. Spots, I'm a icecreamaholic but limit myself also. I could eat a gal in two days before I decided to get serious about wht to put in my body. NO CANNED FOODS. Remember the aluminum. Our liver cannot process metals. I go back to the dr. on the 5th but I don't know if I can take this that long. I have spent most of the day in bed cause I just don't have any energy and I feel like crap. I don't know what stage I'm in yet suppose to find out at next appointment. Any suggestions. Please.
Be sure and get a multi vitimin without iron. and no, you're not a bother. That's why we're all here. For each other. Guest guest
The only thing I can think of and you might think I am stupid especially if you feel so tired. Get out and walk if you can. Believe me when my doc told me to do that I was not happy. I was t hinking hell if I can keep my eyes open for 2 minutes I might get lucky to get to the front door and back to bed-- But I pushed myself to start to the end of the block now I walk from my house to my moms, to the kids school to work etc... Was horrible at first but now I feel better. The second think until you go to md --WATER --WATER ---WATER. I cut out pretty much red meats - and I am a steak and taters kind of gal from the farm where moo moo was always plentiful lol. NOT good to the liver. I either take or eat more fiberous foods which also helps to detoxify the liver. Those are just little tiny things that can not hurt you one bit. Try to think positively our minds can make us think of the worst. DONT LET THE DRAGON WIN.. I am praying and wishing you feel better and smile today When you feel sad know you are on our thoughts.
