" But even without the drugs, Lundt said she considered it a typical reaction for a teenager to want to hang out with friends in the aftermath of her parents' deaths. " A 16-year-old is still a 16-still year-old, even if she experiences trauma. Teens tend to deal with stress by avoiding and repressing it. " Lundt said. " I wouldn't consider it at all unusual for a 16-year-old to want to be with her friends. They're drawn to their peer group.
