Guest guest
Does/has anyone taken Neupogen for their white counts? And if you have/are, does the pain ever go away? I hurt allllllll of the time. I can take some Tylenol for the pain, and it helps some, but I hate taking that because I know that it is so hard on my liver. <><TammieD><>

Guest guest
Hi Tammie, I live in ...north of Fayetteville. You should be able to take Ultram and Celebrex at the same time, I did when I took Celebrex. The Celebrex is more for arthritis, tendonitis, etc. while the Ultram is an all over pain medication. I don't know what I'd do without it. Where do you give yourself the injections? When my platelets were very low, I thought I'd bruise from all of the shots, but I didn't. I usually used my abdomen...lol, more fat. I used my tummy when I did the first round of treatment in 1999 and had no problems with it either. I know it can get old, telling yourself that the pain means the med's are working, especially when the pain is worse than usual. Thankfully, my shots were timed so that I could go to bed on Friday evening and sleep the weekend through. A heating pad (for the sciatic nerve pain I also have), some Ultram, and I could sleep for 2-3 hours at a time. I usually would feel rested by Sunday afternoon, ha ha, then I'd have to work like crazy, doing laundry, cleaning, etc. so that I could start the rat race all over again on Monday. I also took a lot of naps after work. Good thing I'm single...or my spouse would either have starved or learned to cook. Take care, it will get better, Betty
