Guest guest
Hello everyone, I was surprised and pleased when my spent knee and all the pain connected to that didn't set off a flare. Yesterday I found out I have a brain tumor, a meningioma, and the knowledge of that hasn't set off a flare either. Pretty amazing stuff this Antibiotic Protocol. I don't know how the tumor will affect my scheduled knee replacement. I will find out the 19th when I see the brain surgeon. It was a fluke this was discovered as I had gone to the eye doctor for a corneal abrasion and while there he measured my eye. I had a " just in case " MRI and there it was--growing on the left side of my brain and into my eye socket. Kind of like ivy. I've been up and down emotionally but I'm doing ok. I live my life one day at a time and today was just fine. love,

Guest guest
Hello. I'm back in circulation after a busy March. Some random responses to issues in the latest post. For siblings of OCDers I find that it is important for them to have a safe place to express their frustration and negative feelings. If they are free to do so, they may be able to move on to compassion, or at least to being mad about the situation, not mad at the sib. The video from the OCF " The Kids Panel " is a good one to show sibs, or " The Touching Tree " to help them see this disorder is real, not something the sib is doing to make everyone crazy. My non-expert advice about head lice from personal experience this fall... there are safer treatments than NIX, I think they are from Australia- check them out at the health food store. Also lavender oil is a natural repellent and aroma therapy folks say the scent helps you relax. Best, Tamar Chansky, Ph.D.

I used a product called Lice 123 on Ava which is basically oil and herbs that doesn't kill them but makes it really easy to comb a metal nit comb through even long hair. I also got a product called NoNits which is also oils and I put it on her hair at night. It smells wonderful. For me though, I went with the heavy duty pesticide. Not NIX because it's too weak. I got a prescription for a cream 5 times stronger than NIX, usually used to treat scabies. I can do Ava's hair twice daily but I don't have anyone to go through mine, which is why I used the poison. Guest guest
Quite a story Butch, Sound like a description of my son J.R. Although the college kids would love him also. He is the oldest of my three children, and when I discovered he was Downs (long story) he was three years old. I already had one other child and pregnant with #3. The horse doctor (pediatrician) I went to advised me to put him in a home immediately because he would ruin our home life and my other kids would resent him. He also told me these children should be euthanized when they are born because they are no good for themselves or anyone else. How untrue. My son has given unconditional love for 48 years now. All of my other kids friends loved J.R. and to this day where ever he goes he makes friends. I am glad medically this other young man is o.k. I have been spared any heart problems with J.R. except a murmer. Guest guest
Thank you so very much, . You can bet I'm rejoicing, after sobbing buckets of joyful tears, that he was safely home! Blessings to you, Martha M / NSIF
Guest guest
e, thank you so much for your support during this trying time for me. I think I knew in my heart that he was safe & well, however, we mothers worry needlessly sometimes -- even though we try to turn these matters over to a loving God -- we seem to have to continue to do 'our part' to help Him! Guest guest
Hi Suzi, I'm not in love in vegetable juice, but it's OK and after trying so many nasty things to improve my health I am not overly picky. I don't remember the msm dosage, but from what I've read it's more effective for oseoarthrits than rheumatoid. The two need different treatments. That's why I started doing some Ayurveda. This is the season for Vata, the wind element, and can aggravate arthritis. I have an excess/imbalance of this and have found the most effective treatment to be enemas with herbs and sesame oil. Vasant Lad has written some about this. It's an interesting philosphy because it takes into account waste from our energy bodies as contributing to imbalance and illness. This insight made a big difference to me in learning that the cause of disease is not just from physical factors. It's important to cleanse ourselve of negativity if we are to be truly healthy. How'd you like the cukes, beets and > carrots? I make this occassionally and will add some spinach too or celery > or both.. > Regarding the MSM.... what kind of dosages were you taking? Guest guest
Hi There are mainly two forms of Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis (where your own defence system attacks the joints) and Osteoarthritis, which is basically the joints wearing out. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and indeed have had it for almost 60 years, was originally called Stills Disease in children. However, it was then discovered that Still Disease did not have the Rheumatoid Factor. Kind regards Jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: Suzanne health Sent: Friday, October 15, 2004 4:24 AM Subject: Re: Digest Number 461 , Don't discount MSM, along with DMSO for RA... also organic apple cider vinegar. The dr told me mine was a level 4 arthritis... along the lines of RA... which didn't mean alot to me at that moment... arthritis was arthritis... lol... told me I'd have to live with some swelling and some pain for the rest of my life... and if it got worse I could be looking at a partial knee replacement... TALK ABOUT A WAKE UP CALL.... I think I was doing a juice/raw diet for almost a month.... doing lots of herbs, vits, etc... the padding under the knee cap is almost non-existant.... the only time I noticed it is if I try to kneel on it... I need a cushion... but otherwise... I don't notice it. Suzi
Guest guest
Grace, you can get coconut oil through www.tropicaltraditions.com Check out www.mercola.com too, he recommends this company as well. ~ Grace <foxyfoxgrace@...> wrote: I'm new to this group and would like to know where can get the Coconut Oil from? Grace Grace Another new supplier that is supplying a very good quality organically certified virgin coconut oil into the US and Canada is www.alphahealth.ca/coconut.html. In the Asian Pacific Region you can try www.kokonutpacific.com.au. It is all the same oil. I have been using it all year and am very impressed by it. Kokonut Pacific has developed the DME process and works mainly in the Pacific region in small Island communities. They sell the equipment to the communities and in return are buying the oil back as most of these people don't have the resources to market it themselves. They have recently set up units in East Timor and the Islands. There website is currently being updated but still well worth a look.
