Hello,

My husband, who was told he is borderline-diabetic, uses aspartame to

sweeten his tea. I've read that aspartame is not healthy.

My questions:

Does anyone use stevia?

If so, is it any good?

Is there a brand you can recommend?

Any other alternatives to sweeten tea?

Thanks so much,

Becky

I use stevia that I buy in bulk at the health food store. It's not so good

for baking but is fine for sweetening liquids or fruit-based desserts. You

only need to use a speck of it at a time since it is very strong. There are

also books on cooking with stevia available in health food stores.
