Guest guest
No, I haven't been taking any salt, but I do take a good amount of C, selenium, and Mag. I might back down to 12.5g for awhile to see if these symptoms subside. Don't want to burden my body with too many toxins possibly being released by the iodine. Thanks > > Have you been doing the salt load protocol? That may help you if it is > detox. Guest guest
If it is bromide salt is the most beneficial item to take. Why back down on dosage when you can just add some salt which is good for you too. Sodium is a key in the NIS (sodium iodine symporters) which pulls iodine into the cells. Guest guest
Make sure that it is natural - not table salt. Get a Celtic, Himalayan or Redmonds so you have all the minerals and none of the refining toxins. Guest guest
If you can find a good ND to prescribe the right UNDA number remedies, they are very effective with sinus too. Have kept me from constant sinus infections. Work better than antibiotics for me personally. Guest guest
I am one of the people who have had my sinuses seemingly affected by Iodine, but this has gradually resolved itself since I have broken my dosages up during the course of the day and take breaks every week. Guest guest
It could be detox. Everyone reacts differently. There are no "rules" for detox. Steph detox? Hello,Are stomach cramps and diarrhea signs of bromide/mercury/whatever detox? When I first started iodoral (one tablet) I had terrible D. for a week. It got better and after a month or so, I was taking two tablets a day with no reaction. Then (after approximately another month) I run out of it (I ordered it from bc choices and was waiting for shipment) and didn't have any for 10 or so days. When I stated again (this time two tablets right away) D. and cramps came back....So, does this sound like a "normal" reaction?I started taking it for my fibroid breasts, cold hands / feet, dry skin,...Thanks
Guest guest
Iodine can kill off intestinal parasites and bacterial infections. If you were killing them off, your body may have wanted to get rid of the dead organisms rapidly. Several people have reported loose bowels as a temporary event but it may last a couple of months. When you stopped taking the Iodoral, the organisms may have grown back. I'm not sure if Iodine kills the eggs or not. Freshly ground cloves has been reported to kill eggs. Good luck and please report back. Lynne In a message dated 2/5/2008 5:36:48 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, eole@... writes: Hello,Are stomach cramps and diarrhea signs of bromide/mercury/whatever detox? Guest guest
your experience sounds very similar to what I had happen when going to 100 mgs. I ended up pulse dosing - 6 days on and 1 -2 days off. That helped me get through the rough stuff. It's hard to know sometimes the origin and you have to stop and start again to see. Steph Detox? Hi Everybody,I am in my second month of the Iodine Protocol. I have built my way up to 50mg, taking all my supplements. In the first month I had been taking apple cider vinegar but changed in the second month to salt loading. Until now, detox has been mild with really only heavy periods being the issue. Last week I decided to increase my dosage to 75mg and within a day I think I went into proper detox. My stomach went into spasms and I started to suffer from a frontal headache, nausea, muscle and joint aches. For six days I had what I can only describe nicely as colic/diarrhoea. No matter how much cream I put on my skin, it was dry. I started to get dandruff. Oh and horrible body odour. My appendix became sore, followed by my kidneys (bad lower back pain), spleen and then liver. Strange but I could really feel which organs were painful. My bladder did not suffer at all.I hardly ate anything but continued with Salt and alternated with warm water and honey. After three days I started to eat rice and then introduced chicken and then poached eggs. I have lost 1/2 stone in weight.During this last week I stopped taking my iodine and supplements as my stomach could not cope with them and I doubt they would not have stayed in my stomach long enough to have any effect.Today, I am feeling much better so I will start back at my Protocol. After a week of hell I would have expected to look pretty horrible but my skin has started to look great and my energy levels are back so things have turned around very quickly. So the question is, is this the bromine detox or was it the blue cheese I ate a week ago? (17 years sub clinical hypoT with goiter and nodule, fibrocystic breasts, fibroids, miscarriages, migraines, carpel tunnel syndrome, and all the rest. Guest guest
how do you 'detox' the autoimmune deficiency response to squalene? this is not addressed with any of these methods as far as i can see. is there information on undoing this response in gulf war syndrome victims? that is what i would like to see since it seems that squalene is a major component of their illnesses. how many others in the past 10 yrs have been vaccinated with squalene contaminated shots with concurring consequences? are there cases of recovery from this created autoimmune deficiency response? aren't these the questions that need to be answered before placing confidence in detox techniques which have little to do with this biological response in the body? tanya

Guest guest
I agree , there is a lot of trust with methods that have never seen this concoction before. Homeopathy has a real track record, but we also have to look at the slant of the added nasties in this mixture....lots of unknowns. While being poised to treat by symptoms the tried and true way, this also requires more preventatives and fast detoxification. There is a homeopath who has done work on military diseases quite a bit that I'll get in contact with regarding squaline. I'll be putting a couple of other methods on my website being created now, should be done next week. On another note I wish we could get it straight as to approaching each state in regards to stopping the mandatory situation to begin with. Mr. Vawter's story has become convoluted, but still worth following up on... which some seemed to do somewhat. Then there was the meeting which discussed getting the county sherrif to defy any federal mandate. I contacted the King County sherrif's office in WA and the man who 'speaks for the sherrif' who was out of town had no clue and said they will not even consider the issue unless it is 'ACTUALLY FORCED' federally....he was vague and rude. I have not heard a peep from my congressman regarding petitions done here or anywhere on the matter. It's hard to know where to spend time and energy on this whole level. Above all fear is the worst thing and we all have to find our center before doing anything. Finding that balance between being aware, being proactive and unafraid is difficult. Thanks, Liz > > > how do you 'detox' the autoimmune deficiency response to squalene? > this is not addressed with any of these methods as far as i can see. > is there information on undoing this response in gulf war syndrome victims? > that is what i would like to see since it seems that squalene is a major > component of their illnesses. how many others in the past 10 yrs have > been vaccinated with squalene contaminated shots with concurring > consequences? are there cases of recovery from this created > autoimmune deficiency response? > > aren't these the questions that need to be answered before placing > confidence in detox techniques which have little to do with this biological > response in the body? > > tanya >
