Hi Alley,

I quit my job about 5 months ago. I do feel a lot more rested. I have

got a lot of stuff done around the house. I find for me my day starts at

about noon. It is hard to get out of bed when it is cold my bones hurt.

I only have about 5 weeks left on tx. I hope!!! I go to the doctors the

2nd Dec. I think for me the last 3 months have been the hardest I don't

think I have felt good much of the last 3 months. Either I can't go to

the bathroom or I can't stop. I have lost 25 pounds. Your head hurts

your tummy is up side down. Dry couch all the

time. Sorry for getting on a roll about how bad i feel. You will feel

better staying home. I just miss the money and the people I worked with.

Even only being home 2 days I already feel better. More energy when I'm up,

wonderful to lie down and rest when I'm down. And I have all kinds of plans

for fixing up my house... my only limit is my money lol

Pat mentioned the power chair option. I have a couple of friends who work in

offices and who have moved to a power chair. They love it. It goes right under

their desks and at home they can even do kitchen work with them.

Some models are adjustable up and down so they do fit in. I think in the US of

A, there is a company called The Scooter Store and they have a policy that

virtually eliminates any cost to you as long as your doctor prescribes one.

They will do all the paperwork for Medicare/Medicaid and if the Government does

not pay then the scooter is yours anyway.
