Guest guest
hi i am a 24 yr old female with ocd and am taking 150mg of zoloft per day and am also taking klonopin for anxiety. i have read a lot of things on these drugs and its really hard to know what to do. the zoloft helps with the obbsessions and it is quite hard to find a good councelor that understands ocd especially purely obbsessional ocd. not to mention insurance problems. i am currently breastfeeding my 7mos old ( i time my taking meds with his nighttime schedule so he is least likey to be affected by them). i have had ocd and anxiety since i was a small child and was just recently diagnosed. when i became pregnant with my 2nd son i decided i needed help to fix the ocd. now i am becoming obbsessed with the fact that the medicines might be huting me! ha, double edge sword! any suggestions? Guest guest
Suggestion - Go to " Drops of Hope " group on and tell your story. You will have to be approved to join the group...takes a day or two. They deal with holistic remedies - oils. (natural). Also.....why not check into some behavioral technique therapy? Zoloft is not the answer...especially while breatfeeding a baby. Good luck to you and I will say some prayers.

Guest guest
Don't stop taking this drug abruptly. Get a doctor to wean you off if that is what you decide. there is a lot of recent press showing Prozac might make children act up later in live, since Zoloft and Prozac are similar I would discuss that with your doctor also.
