Guest guest
Dear Crusaders, I pay attention to details and patterns. All the time that I've been with this group, I noticed that everyone disappeared on weekends. There wasn't much posting, so it gave me time to clean up my mailbox. Also, as we approached Christmas, there were less posts and the petition went to sleep. Most days less than 10 people signed it. Well, Christmas is over and 40 to 50 people are signing every day. On a normal Sunday, I would get about 6 emails. I've been on the computer for 2 hours now trying to stay on top of the flood of emails. Apparently some of you want to help out on the First Strike. That just guarantees success. Thank you so much for the support. Now on to a touchy subject. There are 71 members in this group. If we all send a monthly cheque for $ 5.00 to the SSRI medications, P.O. Box 1944, Orem, Utah, 84059-1944, we would have money to increase our efforts, such as bumper stickers and booths at health trade shows. Just imagine being in a booth next to Eli Lilly at a trade show ! Five bucks won't even buy you a pack of cigarettes here, so let's do it. Before you send me stories of how broke you are, I want you to know, I have no real assets. The taxman thinks I owe him $32,000 (he's so funny), I owe $11,000 in "child support" payments, $16,000 to family members and $2,000 to a useless lawyer. It's just a matter of priorities. I spend over $200 a month on Crusader stuff and will continue to do so and all I'm asking for is $5 from you. Obviously, this issue is important to me. So if it's important to you, just send Dawn a bunch of postdated cheques. Thank you. Tim
