Guest guest
Sharing our lives is a good thing. Sure this is a Hep C support list, but our lives aren't all about HCV and I think it's good to share other things too. Although for the sake of others I try to remember to put OT in the subject line. like all the wildlife talk.. Dawn

Guest guest
You are SO right, Dawn! I've so enjoyed reading all the notes on pigeons, squirrels, owls, flower pots, etc. When I was first diagnosed and began participating on support forums, my world (for about a year) seemed to turn to nothing BUT something related to Hep C. My thoughts were constantly on Hep C, and the thoughts were always " rattling " (not positive). I had to totally vacate Hep C forums not too long ago (and vacated them for several months) because it all became too sad for me to begin to get to know people, to begin to feel attached, and to learn they were suffering or taking a turn for the worse (and that feeling that I could do nothing to help was just " too much " ). So..... thanks for the OT. I'm slowly trying to inch my way back into " psyching myself up " to attempt treatment again, but honestly -- I don't know that I'll ever attempt it again. I did not do well on it the first go around and had to be taken off after three weeks on Peg / Cop. I'm Grade 3 / stage 2, geno 1a, have probably had this virus for 28 years (had nonA nonB in 70's), and sometimes I truly wish I didn't know I had it. Although I don't think about it as much as I used to, it's always lurking in the back of my mind, and so I have to do things to take my mind off of it -- try to stay busy, etc. I'm so grateful that I'm not suffering as some are, and my heart and prayers go out to those who are. I feel lucky when I read about some's problems and what they are going through / faced with. Well.... let me get back to this a.m. coffee. It's a pretty day here today, and I think I'll get in the garden today. In a message dated 5/6/2004 3:06:40 AM Eastern Standard Time, tatezi@... writes: > Sharing our lives is a good thing.
