Guest guest
Someone asked me how to identify a medical massage therapist. So at my appointment on Monday I asked mine. He's real nice his name is Dorel and he is from Romania. He said when looking for one ask them if they specialize in these 3 areas: Soft tissue manipulation, trigger point manipulation, and Myofacial massage. He said if not then they are a Relaxation massage therapist. At his spa only him and one of his understudies are certified in medical massage. He is licensed as a Chiropractor too in Europe, but would have to start all over again in the U.S. He asked me to write a testimonial letter for him and I said sure, because he has helped me. My Wife thinks I should try to get a free massage out of the testimony, but I don't work that way. Besides I pay for 1/2 hour massage and I always get 45 minutes plus good conversation. One day we talked about Transylvania which is in Romania. We also talked about how he grew up under a very cruel communist Dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. He said it was normal to see whole families disappear if they spoke out against the government. He told me, and I agree that people of the United States have no idea how well they have it here. He also is very much against illegal immigration and handouts. He came here with $200 and a $3000 debt to pay the mafia back home to get a visa. He worked 4 jobs until he paid them off, or they would hurt his family back home. 9 years later he owns a very upscale spa, debt free. He's something.
