Anyone else getting strange characters on their email screen?

This may not even show up this way on your screen

but I've been getting messages from several

members with weird accents, etc on top of the normal text. Here is an example:

There are tildas ~ over the A's and the A's

aren't even supposed to be there. Is it just me? Thanks, Dave

I have not been experiencing this on my computer, only the usual abbreviations

and shortening of words and sentences and thoughts that are sadly so typical of

texting, e-mails, chats and the like. Gadgets and their use are ruining the

spoken and written languages. Just an observation from someone who loves words.
