Guest guest
Dear Tom, My opinion is that if Vick is legally out of jail, he needs a job. I don't like what he did. It was cruel, but it was dogs, not humans. Even murderers and child molestors get out of jail and they need jobs too. The bear killing at the dump is also cruel, but such killings are common all over the world and is a symptom of increasing human encroachment on wild animal habitat. Eventually there will be so many humans, we will need all the land to live on or use for human activities, and so will kill all the wild animals, either directly or indirectly. I have no doubt that we will destroy all natural habitats and the animals in them, sooner or later. Sorry for my very negative and fatalistic view of earth's future. Guest guest
Dave, and all others--  I think Vick, once a great scrambling  QB for VA Tech,  ought to be kicked out and  like many others like him who murder dogs or people, beat their wives or rape like that fighter did--- he is a common criminal and does not deserve to be a role model for sport watchers, enthusiasts, etc.. He should be OUSTED.  Whether he served his time or NOT he still has a perverted sense of pleasure, for why would HE want to do that -- it was obviously not for MONEY! he makes multi millions so I am sure it was for pleasure and what kind of therapy did he get? IN Jail? why I bet he was a hero there--- no man would castigate him there for killing dogs! He and many men who play pro sports lack the integrity and often beat up their wives.  I am adamant about this kind of parochial patriarchal perversion. There is a divide in this country about if Micheal Vick should be allowed back in the NFL... I think that what he was guilty of was horrendous.. But he did serve his time.. Maybe the term should have been longer but he did serve his sentence what then?? However, my wife Iza read me an article out of Alberta Canada that was basically this.. There is a small township in the province that has a garbage dump that is not protected from bears.. Well not surprisingly a lot of bears were attracted to the site and a lot of people went to the dump to take picturesof them.. This was seen to be a potential problem by the politicos, so Canada's finest came in and shot 12 bears that were in the area. What is more despicable?? Vick being given a second chance or the killing of the bears outside of the township in Alberta Canada...  I have always been a bit of a environmentalist but as I deal with my pain issues I have more time to ponder things and wonder what others think...
Guest guest
ME TOO. I agree with you Annie. I was horrified any team took him back. But then, why should that surprise me?, it creates publicity. Vick is a Dumb A--! Look, do you remember they kicked out that guy, Pete Rose for gambling? Hell, that isnt anything compared to what vick did. Vick should never play any sport again. Half those sports guys dont have a brain in their heads.Their Just BIG.
