It did my heart good to read your post and the way it has helped you and saved another, from the horror I have lived through.  Yes, our support group is such a blessing and it's even more warming to know llena doesn't even or never has had implants. We have Dr.'s that's never had them either but some of them don't want to believe us. I had Silicone put in 1981, removed in 1992. My outer shells were not even inside me. Just RAW SILICONE lying inside my chest cavity with black gooey junk everywhere. I was sick. Did not know why. My Dr. (Thank God) did believe I was sick. After going on disability (still not knowing or blaming Silicone) My, MD I get the Implants removed. I hurt all of the time. Was sick at my stomach. Lost a job I had worked so hard for at IBM. Didn't qualify for their disability because "whatever was wrong with me wasn't on their list of disability requirements". Being a 'one performer' didn't matter to them any longer. So I lost that benefit....Life ins./health ins. from IBM. Took over a year to get SSD approved. (Hell there in its self; getting through that). I had the Lattissimus Dorsi Flap done (Muscle moved from the back, attached to ribs with Implants put in under that muscle). Now, that muscle is under my arm pits. Left breast area burns all of the time. Like acid in there. Bones hurt so bad at times I'm rolling in the floor, with my legs...bending them...sitting on them....beating them....

Etc. (You can't be still with that kind of bone pain) I've lost so much out of life but seems so big feat, compared to the recent tragedy in America but still, it is my reality and I still have to live and deal with it. I now have been diagnosed with:

Scleroderma/Sarcoidosis/Lupus/Rhuematoid. Started out as Fibromyalgia!

I had the Implants in to long for my condition to improve after getting them removed. Eleven years is too long for Raw Silicone (that you are unaware of) to be lying/traveling around in your body. Wish I had known and got them removed sooner. NO! Wish I had never gotten them AT ALL! Tell your Friend to do herself a favor and save her health/life and get hers out ASAP. No Dr. that wants your money will tell you the truth about implants & your health. It won't be his/her loss. Only Yours & ours!

Good luck to you and your husband and thank-you for taking up our cause! We need all of the help we can get. I'll also keep your friend in mind and let us know how she is doing. You know the saying; THE LONGER THE BETTER? WELL NOT WITH IMPLANTS!
