Is there always a " rebound " or symptoms of a " rebound psychosis "

when a person abruptly stops anti-psychotics.

If so, could you enlighten us as to why.

For the record,

after all the troubles I had with SSRI/SNRI I ended up on a cocktail

of drugs which included Melleril (thioridazine).

This drug got banned in the UK/Ireland because of its cardio

problems ........ & you guess my GP just stopped the script & cold

turkyed me off it. (ouch !!!)

Once I got off the SNRI things eventually settled down.

I take no drugs now which is something I'm forever greatful after

years on a cocktail of 5
