Connie and all,

I got on this group to collect information to help bring psychiatry back

under the law. I work for a chapter of CCHR in Texas. When I started working

at CCHR I had no idea that the situation was nearly as bad as I soon

discovered. Many people want to help at CCHR and I can tell you that not

many people last. It's very depressing work investigating psychiatric abuse

and for me the realization of how many people are being harmed, especially

children, was pretty hard to take at first. I actually don't think I would

have lasted without all the victories I get helping people. Just the public

awareness on the antidepressants over the last year and a half have been

very sustaining. Since I have been here I have made many friends and I know

I will be on the group now no matter where I work.

Jim,

The work of helping people that have been affected by

this trash they still continue to call medicine is

sooooooo very depressing! I have seen it time and time

and time again in the cries that come through the

Internet in the form of email and in my own life

experience. You just want to die some times because of

the pain these drugs are causing. You want to stop the

pain, but you can't. All you can do is continue to try

and help these poor people and most of the time all

you can really do is be there for them to talk to. I

remember calling my Internet friend in Kentucky at

least once a day for the first year after i found out

how dangerous these drugs were and we were trying to

get my son off this garbage. I swear, if he hadn't

been there to help me i would have died and I'm not

kidding. And most of the time he was repeating what he

already said, but i had to hear it over and over. And

over and over he would give those reassuring words

that everything was going to be okay. Finally, i got

to a point were i could semi function without him.

Anyway Jim, I'm so glad that you haven't given up and

I'm glad to hear your reassuring words that promise to

stay with us. We really do appreciate you and all you

contribute.

If any of you feel like you need someone to talk to,

all you have to do is email me personally and i will

give you my number. Don't ever think that you might be

intruding because i have been there, but I'm okay now

and will try to help you in any way that i can.
