Guest guest
http://www.nvhr.org/WHD-2009.htm NATIONAL VIRAL HEPATITIS ROUNDTABLE World Hepatitis Day 2009 - May 19 Planning has begun for the 2009 global observance of World Hepatitis Day, as well as a coordinated national campaign in the United States. World Hepatitis Day will be observed internationally on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. For more information on the global campaign, please visit www.worldhepatitisday.org. For information on planning efforts in the United States, please visit www.NVHR.org .. As plans for a coordinated national campaign continue to develop, updates will be sent to the World Hepatitis Day listserv (discussed below). New this year in the U.S., a World Hepatitis Day listserv has been created. The purpose of the listserv is to provide periodic updates about the global and national campaign, as well as to alert subscribers to materials that have been posted on the website. At this time, to limit the amount of email traffic, the listserv is not intended to be a forum for discussion among members. All future communications from me regarding World Hepatitis Day in the U.S. will be sent on this listserv. If you would like to continue receiving updates, please sign up by following the above link. We are working on creating a calendar feature on the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable (NVHR) website to post events/activities planned throughout the United States. (More to come on this as the site is developed). Many states and cities are already planning events for the 2009 observance. If you are interested in becoming involved in planning at the state or local level and are not sure how to get involved, please contact me and I can connect you with others in your state.
