Roommates of Saharnaz Khosravi-Sichani, a senior from ville, N.J., found her in the apartment at approximately 9 p.m., said Sgt. Rowe of the New Brunswick Police Department. Paramedics arrived at 9:04 p.m. to the residence above J J Bar & Grill, located at 186 Hamilton St., Rowe said, but Khosravi-Sichani was unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:12 p.m. The police department is still investigating the incident, Rowe said, and an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death. The results of the autopsy will not be known for some time, he said. While police would not disclose what they saw at the student's apartment, Rowe said judging by what they saw, " the scene is consistent with an overdose. " Rowe also said there is no foul play or suspicious activity suspected with the victim's death. University spokeswoman Lanman said, according to the Registrar's Office, Khosravi-Sichani had yet to declare a major. Lanman and Cook College Dean of Students Lee Schneider had no other information to release. - Landau
