It certainly is not fungus, so the cream he gave you wont work..sorry. It looks like some kind of eczema. Both armpits are are completely covered and same as under breasts as well. smallest 1 " cicumference to up to 4 " s in size. When they first appeared some of them had tiny water blisters in them and itched. Doc have you seen the stuff they call escar or something like that? It is the yellowish stuff inside burns, (maybe wounds, also) I was not grafted right away (2 months), they were watching it, they said grease burns are from internal to the external and had to wait till burning of tissue was done. I saw the stuff they called that Eskar or something the ones I have scratched open look like that. Sometimes they itch and sometimes they burn mostly after I scratched them open, which is logical. Eddie said looks like Excema to him, he gets that when stressed. Mostly round, raised above the skin in some places, the newer ones I think are raised. Actually none on previous burned skin, they itch then burn from being scratched, more seem to be coming....LOL Doc....olive skin has a certain color when scarred and stuff is what I meant. Oh and something else I have had a swollen lymph node under my left ear for at least 5 months, he attributes it to yeast infect which is new thing. The Lymph node is harder than normal and comes to a point, can be seen without touching it. well if I scratch off which is flaky dry skin under it is the Escar or whatever you call that. So kind of dry and not. Think I answered everything, if not send it back to me and I will. I don't think you can get steroid cream OTC, not sure though. Like when you first get there, remember Dr saying real close to my ear, we are debieng you now and next time we give you pain Meds, I thought why not now? And fell back asleep. I was in shock and felt nothing just bits and pieces like hearing water run and metal table. Have you thought about going to an emergency room? I don't think your doctor is being very thorough, and with all your various health conditions that can be more than irritating, it can be serious. With all your recent problems, going on at once, a trip to an ER could be in order. You've got to do SOMETHING! Have you thought about going to an emergency room? I don't think your doctor is being very thorough, and with all your various health conditions that can be more than irritating, it can be serious. I worked with a woman named Grace died because of her Platelets. The whites of her eyes was blood. For lack of anything to dainose her with she got Tagged with ITP. If I go to an ER sure won't be this one here, they be dumb as a stump. Macons is suppose to be better. Also got the hydro cortisone when at Kroger. Was cheap like $3, think I will try that. Mine started last June, and now I'm breaking out in small pimply bumps that sting like fire and itch continuously. I was given diflucan (for yeast) at first last summer, then Atarax. Now the Atarax isn't working and over the weekend I've had to just knock myself out with a phenergan. On my torso, I have long bumpy welts (even when I don't scratch) across my sides and chest. Dr I had was not real communicative about stuff he called it Hep rash, that everyone gets it. This also came from him when I asked what Genotype I was, he said 1 or 2 most Americans are. I have put the Hydrocortisone on it and feels better, burned some at first but soothing now. Alley your rash/itchies sounds terrible. I know mine when I scratch them get itchier and painful so I do try to keep my hands off of them, it is hard to do. Have you tried cortisone cream? Never know might help has cooled mine down...lol....as I sit here scratching my ear. Do it unconciously. Darn time for shot. Well thats done and out of the way till tomorrow night. I had read somewhere that avocado oil(?) is good for the skin but I have not been able to find any. Also the oatmeal thing my Mom use to give me that just for my skin, was never plagued with pimples or anything. What she would do is put it inside cheesecloth and tie it close, wet it, then just rub on your skin. That way no Oatmeal mess. Graft is about 3 inches in width and 5 inches in length. It covers entire area of inside arm as well as well as outside arm (graft), does not itch or burn though. Actually the grafts do not have a lot of feeling. I ran a pin through one when I lost a button on my pants. Did not realise it till went to straighten my pants. You can see by the scars how it splattered on me and went down my body. I had a floor length nylon nighgown on and it melted.
