I second that. In spades. Don't let yourself be defeated by guilt, because you

and the rest of the world, other parents and kids, can benefit from your knowing

exactly where the guilt lies.

***** Terry,

First and most important, I am sooo deeply sorry

about the loss of your son!!! We are not programmed

to handle the loss of a child ... like we are for

grandparents, parents, other relatives, spouses and

friends.

With the mood swings your son was expressing, plus

his poison ivy .... what reasonable and rational

parent would NOT have sought out professional help???

I do NOT agree that you pushed him towards his death...

not at all. The professionals failed you and him,

so did the drugs. THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU Terry !!!!!

With sympathy and compassion.... Jan

Terry, I don't feel guilty about my son. I did what we are told is

the right thing to do. I did my part as a good parent. The the

medical profession and the drug industry didn't just fail him, they

sold him out for a few pieces of gold. I am angry, bitter, cynical

and I feel very sorry for him because of what he's been through, but I

do not feel guilty.
