So proud of him

that is really great that he was able to approach the teacher and find some

good info to provide. I hope my 2 1/2 year old daughter will be able to do

the same when the time comes. The dog was trying to get a piece of her bread

today, and she told him he couldn't have any b/c dogs are supposed to eat

meat (we feed raw), lol. so I hope she can do the same w/vaccines when the

topic comes up.

With super kids like yours, there is still hope for this world :)

A friend in the States sent me this alert:

Warning Teenagers, College girls (please circulate to University students)

Also go to www.vaclib.org for exemptions on mandated vaccines.

Last month I sent an email to my son's high school about how angry I am

that the school is now talking about the benefits of vaccinating with

their students while I have been a victim as well as my infant just

last year. Well, it was brought up again today in my son's health

class. The topic was Gardasil and the benefits of the vaccine. After

the class was over my son went up to the " wellness " teacher and told

her that she was wrong about everything. (So proud of him). She told

my son that despite how she feels about vaccines, she is MANDATED by

the Federal Government to talk about the benefits only! MANDATED is

the word that she used. She then told my son that she understands that

every vaccine carries risks and that one must do their own homework on

every vaccine. She cannot talk about the risks because some girls may

have already gotten the vaccine and she would get in trouble if she

scared them. She also told my son that she has heard that there is a

25% risk of having a reaction to that particular vaccine. So, my son

went over to the computer and pulled up the real risks with Gardasil.

She then thanked him and told him that she would look into it more. He

got a big hug from Mom when he got home today!!

Maybe some people with a desktop publishing program could get together and compile all these heart-breaking [some are heart-warming, too!] stories into a little "Black Book of Vaccines" that we could then print and circulate? We have so many stories to tell, so many facts to report....With my love and appreciation to us all,Viviane==========On Oct 29, 2008, at 7:03 PM, Ingrid Blank wrote:With super kids like yours, there is still hope for this world :)A friend in the States sent me this alert:Warning Teenagers, College girls (please circulate to University students)Also go to www.vaclib.org for exemptions on mandated vaccines.SHORT VIDEOhttp://www.businesswire.com/multimedia/home/20081024005429/en/1709995GARDISIL: 9000 injuries, including collapsing to unconsciousness, paralysisand deaths (27)IngridLast month I sent an email to my son's high school about how angry I amthat the school is now talking about the benefits of vaccinating withtheir students while I have been a victim as well as my infant justlast year.
