Guest guest
Hello All: I have a two year old son who has been suffering with I diagnosed as eczema. My older brother suffers with it so I pretty much know what it looks like and the symptoms. Every doctor I took him too didnt know what it was but were quick to prescribe steroids and chemicals to my baby. He used to scratch until he would bleed. Of course, his diet has always been vegan. His dad is a vegetarian and we both decided that, given his skin condition, that vegan was the way to go. No meat or diary products for him. Egg whites every now and then and maybe some cheese, but very little. His diet consists of lots of grains (amaranth, quinoa), lots of veggies and fruits. One day I went into a health food store and was told by the clerk there eczema is pretty much a condition where your immune system is suppressed to the point where your skin breaks out. Not sure how true that is because I also heard that its a blood issue and blood purification is whats needed. Its all tied together no matter how you look at it. Theres is something in your body thats causing it so get to the root of where disease usually starts in your body, the intestines and colon. If there is anything wrong in these two areas, your body can suffer tremendously and is highly susceptible to tons of infections, viruses, and diseases and it will be hard to recover because your immune system is compromised. So, to all eczema sufferers, start with a great diet free of meat and diary and processed foods, soda and juice thats not 100%. A diet full of immune boosting foods is great. For me, once I incorporated flax seed oil into my sons diet, his skin cleared up seemingly overnight. Its amazing. I cried because my baby suffered damn near his whole life with no resolution in sight. I tried doctors, diet and nothing. I knew that with his diet, he would suffer less but still no solution. And he's at an age now where he's aware of his condition and it would break my heart to see him suffer. But not anymore. The flax seed oil worked great. My son always ate flax seeds and loved it with almond milk as like a cereal. I would sprinkle on his avocados but the oil is more concentrated. Try it and see if it works. Coupled with the diet, should be good. Good luck xoxo
