Guest guest
Simply put, a "lay-person" is someone--anyone--who is has not had specific training in the field of health care from mainstream, accredited medical schools and schools offering nursing programs with both 2 and 4 year degrees leading to a degree of either LPN or R.N. with a Master of Science Degree or an M.D. Those of us who have spent years reading, researching and learning to know our bodies and how they react but have no specialized training would be and are considered by the powers that be, to fall into the category of "lay-persons." This is particularly true in the field of medicine, especially if your anecdotal reactions and experiences do not agree with or are in opposition to the "party line" or "textbook" definitions or lists of reactions and experiences. ~~Ruth/REU Re: Re: MMR propaganda what exactly is a lay-person? I just heard on health talk radio today, that a bill is pending in Congress that would make it illegal for a lay-person to negatively talk bad against vaccines ever! This to me is a "full court press" by the drug companies and the gov't to stop all vaccine protesters/this forum. Please alert others and write your congressman.I don't know the bill number as I just heard this today.Gene
