This is exactly what happened to me on Paxil. I had voices in my head

telling me to kill myself with a butcher knife. I couldn't take a bath for 4

years

because while I was on Paxil all I could think about was slicing my wrists with

a razor and bleeding to death in the tub. Get the hell away from these

doctos, is my best advice to you. Most of them are misinformed about what these

drugs can do to a person's mind. If you'd taken LSD and complained of these

thoughts, they'd blame it on the drug. But they seem to think that SSRIs are

perfectly safe. THEY'RE NOT!!! I still have nightmares about the nightmares

and

it's 7 years later. Glad you found this group so you know it's not YOU but

the DRUG that caused your problems.

Think your antidepressant is safe? Think again.

I too suffered from vivid dreams that I remember to this day. Can someone

have post-traumatic stress from a dream? I know I do! These dreams were

ususally filled with violence and extreme emotions, but the one I remember

most clearly is too graphic to describe here, but I can assure you it made

9/11 look like a day in the park, not to be disrepectful about that day, but

apocalyptic visions occurred in my dreams on a nightly basis. The good part

is these dreams DID go away when I got off the poison!

Peace to you,
