I know what all you maybe saying after I tell my speel.....but

hey.....oh well......I have decided after thoughtful consideration to

start another round of TX for Hep C geno 1a - Stage 4/4

Cirrhosis......why you ask.....well TX does cause alot of the side

effect syptoms of an elevated viral load...itching, lack of sleep,

appetite, not to mention that there is a very good chance and a bad

chance that the progression of the cirrhosis to a critical level may

worsen and or lessen.......the way I look at it...nothing ventured

nothing gained.....so....the Liver Doctor I have has decided to

monitor by blood work VERY closely to see if the effects of the

treatment process help or hinder me...I was on Peg-Intron last time

with Rebetol and now I am going to be on Pegasys / Ribivirin. I

founf out this morning that ROCHE patient assistance program is going

to sponser my meds and shipping straight from the MFG....at no cost

to me.....WHEW!!!! For those in need of help contact the MFG of the

brand your Doctor wants you to be on.........it's not hard and can

sometimes be done online......like shering-plough (peg-

intron).........looking forward to ppl that have ahd the same

problems I have now and what happened to them......ie 1A non

responders w/ cirrhosis 4/4 and doing a second round.......are the

ones asked to comment regarding this......thank you...

Hi ,

Good luck to you. I like your attitude, keep the positive attitude and you

can do it. Drink plenty of water, it should help reduce some of the side

effects. I'll try to keep up with your postings in this group to see how well

you're doing and hopefully give you some encouragement and/or support. Hope you

win this time.

HI, MY NAME IS KIMBERLY.

I TOO, ATTEMPTED TO COMPLETE MY SECOUND ROUND OF TX. AND ROUCH ALSO

PROVIDED MY MEDICATION AS WELL. THAT WAS A BLESSING. I WISH YOU WELL

WITH YOUR TX. I HAD TO DISCONTINUE MINE RELATED TO SEVERE DEPRESSION AND

MENTAL SIDE AFFECTS. I WAS ON ANTIDEPRESSANTS, BUT I STILL COULD NOT

CONTROL MY THOUGHTS AND I SPUN OUT OF CONTROL. IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY,

PLEASE DISCUSS YOUR MENTAL WELL BEING WHILE ON THIS TX. I PRAY IT WORKS

WELL WITH YOU.
