Alternative Beds ( Has anyone tried one )

While it's not in our immediate future, my wife and I have been

talking about getting a new mattress and or bed. We both prop

ourselves up with a lot of pillows, so we have often talked about a

Craftmatic type adjustable bed with individual controls. But they

are very expensive new, around $3-4,000. Used, they drop a lot,

usually about $500. Has anyone tried a Select Comfort Sleep Number

Bed ? I find when we do get away a Firm mattress seems to help me

sleep. Up until now the best place for mew to sleep when I can't do

it in bed, is on a La Z Boy recliner. I have one that had heat and

massage, but the massage burned up about 2-3 months ago. I

haven't felt good enough to take it to the service center for

repair. Just researching for now. Hope you all are doing as well as

can be. Our weather here in PA has just recently hit cooler where it

should be, and my back has responded by hurting more. Have a good
