Guest guest
Hi Tatezi... Hmmmm, I'd be interested in learning if that works also as my platelets are low enough that I've had to lower my Pegasys dose. I've been taking Neupogen for the white blood count and it really helps, and for some reason, it seems like my platelets go up a little at the same time. Probably because of the reduced doseage. If you find anything out, I'm sure you will post it. Thanks, Betty
Guest guest
During my last go at treatment, I used Epogen and Nupogen effectively. I asked the doctor if I could take Neumega for low platelets and was told it would be of no use. I hope you can keep your platelet levels up to a treatable level. Guest guest
Thanks, Claudine.... Ive been to their site....www.neumega.com and they claim success with chemo patients. I can only just keep hoping it was a lab error that I got such a low platelet count...but I'm still above what Roche says is acceptable...dose gets halved if it drops down to 50,000. I've come too far to have this happen. Tatezi Neumega has been around for awhile, and several years ago there > was some talk about using Neumega during treatment in people with > HCV, but I don't think they had much luck with it.
