Guest guest
Aaaah, but drinking plain water would cause a severe dent in the multi-billion coffers of the diabetis and cancer industry given the fact that ordinary sodas contain high levels of high-fructose corn syrup linked to the diabetis and obesity explosion, whereas diet sodas contain the government's favorite brain scrambler and carcinogen - aspartame. Ingrid Feed your kids soda because water is bad for YOU? Sicko information. Isn't soda made from water, Duh. What next, indeed, will the media generate to kill us all off and keep us sick? This is all getting so out of control, it makes one who has an ounce of common sense left in their brain, to wonder....how will the next generations even have a prayer of a chance for survival, after being lulled into these ludicrous lies? How will our babies survive this massmedia holacost of misguided information. Guest guest
Please don't get the idea that I'm for adding all the chemicals to the water. I'm not. I'm allergic to all of them and must have a whole-house carbon filtration system; otherwise I become extremely ill from the fumes whether it's from turning on a faucet, flushing the stool or doing laundry. ~~Ruth RE: Watershed Tears Aaaah, but drinking plain water would cause a severe dent in the multi-billion coffers of the diabetis and cancer industry given the fact that ordinary sodas contain high levels of high-fructose corn syrup linked to the diabetis and obesity explosion, whereas diet sodas contain the government's favorite brain scrambler and carcinogen - aspartame. Guest guest
There are many ways to purify water from hand operated pumps for the traveler (which is what we use and NEVER travel without) to boiling it to a drop of a silver solution of the appropriate type in a volume of water, to reverse osmosis to electrolytic purification via a device weighing only a few ounces to bottled water (glass, please, to avoid the plasticizers) and so on. Soda, of course, is carbonated which means it promotes acidic conditions in the body stimulating a whole array of negative metabolic consequences, bone loss (if cola-type drink), horrific metabolic consequences if artificially sweetened, containing sugar (soon to be genetically modified - September in the US -, high fructose corn syrup (genetically modified and diabetes and obesity-producing), containing artificial colors, flavors and hydrogenated oils (for example, Gatoraid!), etc. Many bottled waters, by the way, are now being fluoridated. Be careful which ones you purchase! My favorite strategy: get a stainless steel - NOT aluminum - water bottle, fill it with purified water and carry it with you. Thirsty? Carry two! Wash them properly (in purified water, not tap water, at least for final rinses [at least two].Yours in health and freedom,Dr. RimaOn Sun, Apr 6, 2008 at 7:43 PM, Lee Peoples <peop9653@...> wrote: http://www.fluoridealert.org/ On Sun, Apr 6, 2008 at 11:18 AM, <putney1963@...> wrote: Or, depending upon what part of the world one lives, if one drinks plain water, one is likely to become very ill with cholera, diarrhea, and all manner of parasites because of the lack of uncontaminated water. Guest guest
Hi, Ingrid, This is absolutely awesome! Thank you so very much for sharing the links and the article. I'm not surprised that Norway is out in front on this--The country is well known for being on the "cutting edge' of this kind of thing. I lived in Norway for a year and a summer back in 1950-51 when I was 5. I know that's a LONG time ago, but I've kept in touch with a number of people there and have kept abreast of things going on in the areas of Health Care and Environmentalism. The country has a record on these issues that puts the U.S. to shame. : - ) My father had a Fulbright Grant to study Norways Families, so we lived in Oslo during the school year and traveled all over Norway, living with different families during the time we were there. I actually went to kindergarten in Norway. The school I attended was in a so-called "blue-collar" neighborhood, and I absolutely loved it. I was so fortunate--I had a bi-lingual teacher. Guest guest
Dr. Rima, I have been trying to get a list of the GM foods together. I was wondering if you might know what they are and the ones coming in the future? Guest guest
Trina, just to give you an idea - our government idiots (South Africa) refuse to implement mandatory labeling of GMOs with the excuse that the procedure would be too expensive since GMOs are contained in at least 135,000 food products. That toxic stuff is everywhere, even in baby food/products. I already posted the latest stunt on the no-genetically- modified- foods site, i.e. South Africa contaminates the African continent. Mind you, we are the only African country that grows its staple food (white maize) in genetically modified form. Non-GM corn is exported (while we are being force-fed with the crap). One load was exported to Kenya where Greenpeace found out that the allegedly "pure" maize was contaminated with Monsanto's MON810, which has been banned by the French government and other European countries. At first I couldn't believe that the shenanigans in our country had the audacity to grow that toxic stuff in SA. Sure enough, the Minister of Agriculture had approved MON810 for feed and food! If you have a garden, grow your own veggies, you can even plant them in pots on your balcony. Guest guest
It sounds as bad there as it is here! I bought some tomatos, broccoli, lettuces, and herbs the other day. I have to keep them inside until it stops freezing. I live in Montana. Wish me luck, I haven't ever tried my own garden before. I also am going to cultivate dandelions in my yard, just in case things get really bad. At least they are easy to grow! My neighbors will hate me! They have a perfect yard-no weeds! But I'll be damned if my family goes without some nutrition. I am looking into other edible weeds and wild plants. The Gov't over her is just as corporate minded and greedy as ever!
