Will it help if they get responses from out of the state, or is this

limited to within the state of Florida? Just want to check before I

send off an e-mail.

Ken, I sent this letter, hope they read it !!

Jim

Hi,

Critical information that should be printed and distributed amongst any and

all

that would decide on Teen Screen for your children.

This exact link discusses the fact that studies show there is no evidence

that screening for suicide reduces suicide.

http://www.ahrp.org/infomail/04/05/21.php

Another link from the same site ( I like this site because they keep the old

press online)

Dr. Jane Orient, the Executive Director of the Association of American

Physicians and Surgeons

takes a rip at the whole screening idea.

http://www.ahrp.org/infomail/04/12/23a.php

Here is another link that goes into the FDA supression of critical data on

the dangers of antidepressants.

http://www.ahrp.org/infomail/04/05/25.php

Now the FDA and drug companies have been saying that suicide is normal for

people taking these drugs

due to the nature of depression.

but I have several stories of people that were prescribed antidepressants

for pain and other off label use

that killed themselves within the week of starting the drugs. They were not

depressed.

You have probably seen this site since it's from your neck of the woods.

A little ways down you will see that 19 million dollars was spent by

Columbia U to put together Teen Screen.

Where did they get that money and why did they remove that reference to the

money on their website while it is

still on other sites that copied Columbia's site. Both references have the

same date.

http://www.psychsearch.net/teenscreen.html

This press talks about the way your children can be screened if you do not

request them not too.

This is like telling you who is going to be President and then requesting

that you write back to oppose this

if you want, so if you don't get the note in time you have by default said

" yes I want Adolf Hitler for President "

for example.

http://www.southbendtribune.com/stories/2005/01/19/living.20050119-sbt-MICH-D2-S\

tudent_s_parents_ob.sto

There is much discussion over the safety and actually validity of psychiatry

and it's drugs. We hear the 3rd leading cause of

death in children is suicide. But a kid is ten times more likely to die in a

car wreck than by suicide. Seems like a

better seatbelt would be a smarter bet than this screening which will lead

to drugging. Could it be all that money

the drug companies will make? these drugs are hard to quit, like street

drugs, these drugs make

a lot of money. 19 million dollars on a questionable solution that makes a

ton of money for the biggest biz in the country.

A completely healthy 19 year old girl hangs herself during study of Eli

Lilly's latest antidepressant drug. The FDA went on to approve this drug.

http://www.antidepressantsfacts.com/Traci--19-duloxetine4.htm Notice

Shaffer is mentioned defending the drug,

Mr. Shaffer is part of the Teen Screen group, you can read about him again

at the earlier link http://www.psychsearch.net/teenscreen.html

hope this helps you,

Ken, looking forward to hearing the results. If there's anything more

I can do to help, just let me now. I've sent your website to our Very

Large tristate area newspaper who have been amazing in covering the

SSRI debacle. They even have dedicated a specific reporter to cover it

and I'm in contact with him all the time.
