Guest guest
One of my chiropractors told me once to do the following in the event of an ear infection: Boil an onion, remove it from the water and put it in a cheese cloth. Let it cool slightly. Hold it up next to the infected ear (don't touch the ear till it's cool enough to though), and hold it there for 30 minutes. The pain subsides almost immedately, and the onion somehow draws out the infection. I've never had cause to try this remedy, as my son doesn't get ear infections, but my neighbor's two-year-old gets them often. I told her about this remedy, and this is the only one she uses now; she swears by it. Wipes out the infection in a matter of about a half hour and it doesn't come back. Worth a try, IMO... if it doesn't work, the worst you're out is an onion!
