Hi Caren,

No, I haven't, however, she has just opened a new office about a month ago and is working 10-11 hour per day. She also is 'one of us' -- severely plagued with Lupus, and a single parent with 2 young children. She WILL get back to us ASAP! I know you're anxious about this matter, as I have been when I found I had serious thyroid problems.

BTW, I think I forgot to ask you if either your OB/GYN, or endocrinologist has tried giving you the hormone shot to try to start up 'normal periods' for you ? When I had to have some, a 'few' years ago, I remember it could take up to 6 weeks from the shot to 'kick in' a normal period.

I had severe endometriosis, very young, and I had to go through this procedure several times, yet finally wound up with a total hysterectomy by age 30. I had one natural pregnancy before the endometriosis escalated to the point of hysterectomy. However, they didn't have the great treatments for this condition at that time. They can do a lot to help it now!

I will let you know ASAP, yet feel free to contact me anytime about these problems which are bothering you at your young age.

Blessings,

Martha Murdock

Caren,

The shot is a hormone shot to try to get you back on track with your periods, which should get some other endocrine problems back in order. However, I'm not certain about what I'm telling you until I get a response from Arden. Did your endocrinologist do a brain scan of you pituitary gland to make certain it appeared to by OK?

As the pituitary gland conrols all the other hormone functions, and the possibililty of a problem there needs to be ruled out ASAP!

Many Hugs,

Martha M.

What is this shot your talking about. My OB-Gyn just said see you in a year after trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I saw him for 3 months in a row and at my last appoinment even though I was still having very irregular periods he said "I'll see you in a year". The endronolist said you have nothing wrong with your Thyroid and said she could not help me. So my luck with doctors isn't to great. I feel like no one wants to help me to see if I do have a Thyroid problem. With so many doctors telling me no I feel like well maybe my TSH at .64 is just my number. Back in the back of my head I think this is part of my problem and my TSH is to low.

Thanks for your support and help. I really appreciate it.

I just got a copy of my labs all the way from the time I first got

sick till now, and my tsh is way lower than that, that seems to be

high from the reference range at my lab. I think that you must

remember that all labs have there own reference ranges too so what

one considers normal is abnormal by another,.....go figure

of. I called a doctor today and he said my TSH at .64 is normal and

that should not be my problem. I am so irritated. I just want to

scream. I am going into my Ob-gyn and put my foot down.

Hi Caren,

You are not bothering me. I'm relaying all your information to an OB/GYN medical professional who can possibly help you. Unfortunately, she has had to be out of town for a week - 10 days, however, she will get back to me regarding your problems ASAP. I know, to you, it seems like it's taking 'forever'!

Hi Patty,

The only thing I've heard was in a postcard from him post-marked Monday, Sept 10th, from DC --- nothing since! Thank you and several others I've heard from in the past couple of days. I am so concerned because Monte works with the Red Crose International Rescue Units when he can, and they cannot tell me anything about him being called to NY.

Blessings to all,

Martha M

Dearest Martha I am so sorry that your not able to contact your son.

I am not sure where he is or what the story is? Maybe I missed the

post, does he live/work in NYC or in the trade center?

Today we went to church and it was very very touching service, lots

of praying and many tears shed and singing of America the beautiful

etc....my husband and I said many prayers and have shed many tears

for all the poor lost souls who parished in this tragedy.

Again Martha please let us know of any development with your son, god

bless you and him and all of us right now.

Martha,

I am just now getting caught up on all my emails from

last wk. I still haven't gotten to the one about your

son, but I am able to gather that you haven't heard from

him since last wk.

I want to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are

with you and I hope you will hear from him soon. Keep

your chin up and keep the faith.

Thank you & God Bless you in your work. As of today, my son, Monte, is

still missing and I am about to 'crater' as a result. He's my adopted baby,

and I cannot provide the DNA requested, for that reason. I'm trying to work

with the Adoption Agency to get DNA from the natural parents, and that's

moving to slowly for me! I've never been back to them in 30-years for any

additional information!

Blessings,

MM / NSIF

This is so sad...

Martha, my heart goes out to you and your family, and I pray that he makes

contact soon and that all is well with him. I can't imagine not hearing

anything by now...

You said he was not working there, only visiting, isn't that right?
