Guest guest Posted December 31, 2001 Report Share Posted December 31, 2001 Some of u may rem that awhile back when i joined the group I also had a friend who ws undergoing treatment with the rebetron (3 x week and the rebetol) She ws stage 3, very close, to cirochiss. She stayed on treatment for a year and went to 0 detectable @ 3 months and has remained there. She just went for her 6 month check up after ending treatment and she is still @ 0. She ws genotype 1a also. She hs been told now that she only hs to make sure to get her blood checked once a year and that the virus hs a 10% chance of coming back and that she hs slowed it way down even though she cd develop cirochiss @ a later date-something like 6 yrs.
