Hi Ladies,

One of the most important things I learned at a 2-day Conference in Austin this year was how to get your political representatives to respond to you more quickly, and on a more personal level is to send at least a minimum 'donation' to them. By doing this, you become a more "preferred constituent", and your name passes over into another category. The same is true for 'Grass Roots' organizations who are working in our direction, and you will begin receiving more information.

I decided to try this, and sure enough it has worked, so far! I have only been able to send the minimum donations, yet I'm now getting more information from those whom I've needed to have more information, and more issues, more petitions to sign, etc.

I have even started sending donations to polititions who support state & federal Bills that are beneficial to us, and now receive more information than before. Apparently, they are not so concerned about the amount of the donations you send --- although, I'm certain if I could send really significant donations, that would be even better!

I'm just so pleased to find that this has turned out to be a great 'tactic' to get more attention from our representatives!
