There is simply the head of the state dept of health, who is VERY pro vaccine regardless of anything else. The speaker of the house asked him his opinion on the exemption. He told the speaker that it was a bad idea and gave him a bunch of bogus reasons. The speaker listened only to this man and ignored the parents and legislatures. He would not even let the bills out of committee for a vote. We had many legislatures that would have voted for it if they had been given an opportunity. This man is bad news and an Offit clone. We need to get rid of him and hope we get someone better or convince the speaker and as many legislatures as we can. The latter is what we are focusing on. I believe we can do it. It is just going to take a lot of people. We also need as many doctors on board as we can. I am always open to any ideas from this group.
