Guest guest
I've noticed that I itch with Hydrocodone....weird.....it takes spells as to how long it lasts also. I take Benadryl when it makes me itch. Here is a little something that you can make at home that may help with Dry Skin..... This isn't exact....so you may need to play with it some, to get it like you like it. I follow formulas ...but also add things that you can't pick up locally.....this is something you can make at home as needed and should be able to pick up the items locally. Take regular white Sugar or Brown Sugar, about a cup....add about an ounce of Olive Oil, and Sunflower oil, and get some Pure Vita E oil from the pharmacy and drizzle a little into the mix. Mix this all up well......Use more sugar to thicken the mix if it is too thin. You can also get some Cocoa Butter in stick form at pharmacies or walmart....melt a little of that and add it to the Mix also. You want the mix pretty thick.....If you have a Health Food store near.....See if they Carry Lavender Essential Oil....only use a few of drops in your mix....... If you add an Essential Oil...use equipment that you won't be using for food. Or use Stainless Steel or Glass that washes well. After you have Showered and Shampoo'd.....if you have longer hair...put it up outta the way.....and take your Sugar Scrub and massage it all over your body.....*******(Tub will be slippery...Use Caution)******** Rinse well and Pat your body dry....give the oils time to sink into your skin ...if more oil than you like remains...then dry it off......before you dress. The Scrubbing with the sugar...removes dead skin and the oils moisturize. *****TRY not to get water into your mix to keep the molds and such out......scrub every couple to 3 days.....or as you think u need it. We keep a sugar scrub in the shower 24/7 365.....I've found that I don't have to Lotion up when I use my scrub. Olive oil is good for dry skin....Sunflower oil, Emu oil, Sweet Almond Oil.......you can make your own scrub to suit your needs and save money verses buying it from stores.... The Vita E will *help* keep your mix fresher longer plus help your skin.....but it won't keep out molds and bacteria...thus No Water in the mix...water breeds bacteria and molds, and without a Preservative....water will make the mix a mess......and you may not be able to see it....but it will be there. As with Anything ....TEST in patches for irritation or allergies.....If it doesn't help you or makes it worse.....discontinue use. May I ask you acouple questions that you may have answers to. Just want some kind ofopinion. I received a paper with my meds yesterday cautioning users of NSADs that long time users have a greater risk of stroke or heart attack. Ihave been taking Relafen for about 10 or more years now. Did you ever hearof that? Also I have been itching on my arms for about 2 years and now my head is also becoming itchy. They say it may be a side effect of the drug.I have been to a dermatologist and they blame dry skin but I changed soapsand use cream and still get itchy. My doctor can't really answer me about that ....He just tells me to go to a derm. What are your thoughts on thesesubjects?._,___ -- .-.. .-..
