Guest guest
This sounds like something that my Great Aunt tried 40 years ago. It didn't work then. What you could be experiencing is just a placebo effect or just a temporary remission in your disease. Have there been any real studies on this "cure" . any follow-up from people 1 year 2 years or more. What are the side effects? Lots of natural substance can be toxic if you take too much. I am skeptical of any such cure, Betty

For me, RA drugs prescribed by my dr were the miracle. The drugs made it possible for me to physically do most things I did prior to RA, and I only have pain occasionally. Also, I occasionally have a wrist, ankle or finger swell up but it doesn't last more than 2-4 days. Each of our bodies are different, so I'm glad both of us have found what works for us. ***My herbal doc has promised me that my issues will get cured within another 2 months.... now I have finished only 22 days.... total treatment period is 3 months. Or, do you mean the symptoms will be under control with continued use herbal pills? Jean
Guest guest
******* There is a cure for RA.... Diet tips on to avoid too much pain, things to be avoided 1, Prawns, sea food... but Sear fish you can take. 2, Potatoes 3, Cold Drinks and Ice creams.... ******** Ok, I can easily give up the cold drinks. Crab legs would be really hard, but I could do if it did help a lot. BTW, I was told salmon was good for RA by my DR. I'm not sure I can give up potatoes and ice cream. I would if my meds didn't stop most of the pain and swelling. Once you are cured of RA you shouldn't need a special diet. Right? If you're cured that means you don't have the illness. Or, did you mean to say your RA would be under control in 3 months? Good luck with your program. I'm glad it's working for you. Jean
Guest guest
Hello there, I don't like to generalize what you say and consider this a scientific medicine for RA. Plus, the alternative medicines don't depend on food items. But rather they depend on minerals, vitamins, etc. I mean usually Zinc for instance is good for a specific disease, then you would eat carrot, tomato, and any food containing this mineral. However, eating specific items sounds a bit odd for me. Plus, I believe in spiritual medicine and this has some psychological effects. Maybe, because your faith in this approach, you start to be actually better. However, this doesn't mean that all people would have the same faith. In Islam, we believe in donating as it says "donate, cure!". When you donate too much, this cures you. Definitely for non-muslims it sounds insane. However, I believe in this but I can't say this is an alternative medicine as not all people have faith in Islam. Indeed, I take methotrexate and along side, I take Folic Acid, VitaminB, Garlic Supplement, Selenium AC, Iron (temporarily), Fish Oil Omega 3. Plus, I am on a specific diet. I exclude oily food, too much animal protien like red meat and prawns, citrus fruits and some others. However, this approach is scientifically proven. Even I can't prescribe this to the group members, because maybe one of the items I take collides with other diseases you might have. However, my doctor prescribed them for me. Honestly I am doing well. The only concern for me is the future. Wish luck for all! Guest guest
Hi I am thinking about trying your natural cure for weight loss and diabetes. If I gave up those 3 things alone, I would probably lose the 50lbs that I need to lose!! Hugs and God Bless.
