Zoloft and Wellbutrin: Reverse Effects?(worsening symptoms)

Hello Group, I recently joined and have questions concerning Zoloft

and Wellbutrin. I've always had a history of anxiety and depression,

but always managed to work attend school and participate in life but

with some difficulty. I decided to try meds and was placed on the

highest dosages of zoloft and wellbutrin. After that my symptoms

escalted and worsened to a level I've never experienced before.

Despite complaints, I was told my complaints were not symptoms of

these two drugs. Long story short, when I decreased the meds and

eventually stopped them, I returned to a state of anxiety I was used

to, and the bulk of physical symptoms disappeared, and the rest are

decreasing. Is there a source that explains that these medications,

specifially zoloft, can worsen symptoms? The previous pdoc I was

seeing says he has never heard of the meds having the opposite effect.
